All the shows will be held in the splendid setting of the Olympic Theater, Unesco heritage since 1994 together with the other Palladian works of Vicenza. The Olimpico, the oldest covered theater of the modern era, was commissioned to Andrea Palladio by the Olympic Academy, of which he himself was a part, for the representation of classical comedies. Designed in 1580, the architect could not see it built, in fact he died in August of the same year. The work, which had already begun, was continued by his son Silla who based himself on his father's notes and ended in 1584, limited to the cavea complete with loggia and the proscenium. Another great architect, Vincenzo Scamozzi from Vicenza, was called to create the wooden scenes, of great effect for their perspective illusionism and attention to detail, and in March 1585 the Olympic Theater could be inaugurated.

Other information of interest

The precious casket of the Olympic Theater with its fixed scenes leads to a very particular setting, which must be specially designed for this unique place in the world. As Maestro Iván Fischer points out "While in all the opera houses in the world the music is the same, but with each production the scenery changes, here the scenery remains a constant element and it is the music and the scenic action that must do the difference. All this is fascinating. "
