OnDance is back, the Great Dance Festival created by Roberto Bolle is back in Milan
In Piazza Duomo and live on RaiUno, the record-breaking 'Ballo in Bianco' with 2,300 dance students from all over Italy

From 7 to 10 September 2023 get back to Milan "OnDance”, the extraordinary dance festival created by Roberto Bolle which for four days will transform the heart of the city into an immense open-air ballroom: the most iconic place in Milan, Piazza Duomo, from Thursday to Sunday it will welcome you from morning until evening free open classes in all styles, dating, dancing evenings with a final party on Latin American rhythms, as well as the new releases of TalentOnDance is OnDanceCinema, for an edition that is even richer, poppier and more open to the city.

“I love to think of OnDance as a huge wave of joyful dance, which overwhelms cities and insinuates itself into people's hearts” he says Roberto Bolle, which will bring the Ball in White, the greatest barre lesson in history, the highlight of the party which this year has record numbers with 2,300 girls and boys registered, and will be broadcast for the first time live on Rai1 Sunday 10 September from 9.40am. Dress in white, the dance school students from from all over Italy followed by the étoile and the prima ballerina of La Scala Nicoletta Manni in the role of teachers.

Produced by Artedance and organized in collaboration with the the municipality of Milan, OnDance was launched in 2018, expanding from year to year. The pillar of the review are the open class, free and open to all, from 12 to 99 years old (reservation required on the website), dedicated to every genre, Irish, oriental, historical, flamenco, tap, charleston, vogueing, afro, dance hall and "heels" ” (on stiletto heels), without of course forgetting the classic, also available in a children's version (6 -12 years).

There will then be three overwhelming ones Dancing evenings, preceded by the same night classes to quickly enter into the proposed styles, tango (Thursday 7), swing (Friday 8) e Latin American rhythms for the big one closing party (Sunday 10).

Two Encounters, i Dance talks in Merchants Square, one on nutrition (Friday 8th) the other on dance and media (Saturday 9th), and there is no shortage of news: OnDance Cinema, two evenings with dance-related films chosen by Bolle (West Side Story and Two Lives, a Turning Point), and Talent OnDance, a colorful exhibition of young talents excellent in many different styles, from break dancing to tap dancing to classical, with the participation of Mattia Gingerbread, fresh winner of the latest edition of 'Amici'.
