The Master will get on the podium of theOrchestra and Chorus of the Regio, keeping faith with the promise of February 2021, when in greeting the Theater he expressed great appreciation: "you have shown that you are far above the best, that you are an important excellence not only of Turin, but also of Italy".

Don Giovanni, playful drama in two acts, born of the happy partnership Mozart - From Ponte and premiered in 1787 in Prague, it is one of the most loved and represented works all over the world, a sublime representation of the eternal myth of the great seducer. Don Giovanni is the embodiment of infinite desire, and around him resonate some of the most beautiful and powerful music ever written.

The new layout of the work, accomplished in co-production with the Teatro Massimo of Palermo, is one of the most anticipated events, and represents the spearhead of the 2022 Season of the Teatro Regio.

To sign the director is Chiara Muti, while a high-level cast will star on stage, with Luca Micheletti in the title role, Jacquelyn Wagner in that of Donna Anna, Mariangela Sicily in the guise of Donna Elvira, Giovanni Sala like Don Ottavio, Alessandro Luongo, Leporello, Francesca Di Sauro, Zerlina, Leon Košavic, Masetto and Riccardo Zanellatothe Commander.

The Chorus of the Teatro Regio is instructed by Andrea Secchi. The scenes are from Alessandro Camera, the very refined costumes of Thomas Lagattolla and the lights of Vincent Longuemare. Maestro at the fortepiano is Alessandro Benigni.

«Mozart said that the deepest music is the one that hides between the notes. It's an incredible idea: between one note and another, even if closely related, there is infinity. The Mystery is there, in that space which encloses the universe». Like this Riccardo Muti in his book Infinity between notes. My music journey (2019).
