Turin, L'Rai National Symphony Orchestra at the end of the season, as usual, it offers some very enjoyable concerts with fresh and light themes and shapes, in tune with the more relaxed summer atmosphere, naturally keeping the musical quality always high.

The June 6, 2022 (8.30 pm) atRai Auditorium Arturo Toscanini of Turin and in live streaming on Rai Play, will be the protagonist on the podium Hope Scappucci, who will direct a program dedicated to dance in the world of opera.

On the poster a selection of famous dance moments taken from masterpieces such as Moïse et Pharaon of Gioachino Rossini; The Gioconda of Hamilcar Ponchielli, with the famous Dance of the hours, made famous by Walt Disney in Fantasia; there Carmen of George Bizet, with the Aragonese and the Seguidilla contained in one Suite which traces the main symphonic moments of the opera; to close with the divertissement Les Saisons (The seasons) from Les vêpres siciliennes of Giuseppe Verdi.

Hope Scappucci, conductor of the orchestra in great ascent, the first Italian to conduct an opera at the Teatro alla Scala last January, recently she was also engaged with the Rai Orchestra in the Rai3 television program dedicated to great music and conducted by Corrado Augias.
