Sibilla Serafini, alto from Trieste, tenacious and combative girl, always ready to dive into new musical experiences, a very strong temperament that leads her to fight her battles and win them.

She approaches the world of opera at the age of 12 by attending the children's choir "I Piccoli Cantori della Città di Trieste" directed by M ° Maria Susovsky, with whom she participated in the opera and lyric-symphonic productions of the Teatro Lirico " G. Verdi ”in Trieste. Thanks to this experience, he began studying singing as a mezzo at 16 with Maestro Cristina Semeraro, with whom he deepened the repertoire of ancient arias. Since 2001 he has collaborated with the most important choral ensembles in his city, including the choirs "Cappella Tergestina" and "Cappella Civica", directed by Masters such as Severino Zannerini, Marco Podda and Marco Sofianopulo, accompanied by illustrious instrumentalists including the M ° Manuel Tomadin, first Italian organist of the international competition “Young ECHO Organist of Year 2012”.


He has to his credit numerous concerts in many Italian cities. We remember the charity concert, in collaboration with Unicef, in 2010 in Treviso; in 2011 the event "I Salotti Risorgimentali" on the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the unification of Italy at the "Amici del Loggione de La Scala in Milan"; in 2012 the “San Giacomo Festival” in the prestigious Oratorio di Santa Cecilia in Bologna, a “Lieder Abend” in the historic Caffè Tommaseo in Trieste. In 2012 he made his debut as a soloist alto in Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's “Requiem in D minor (KV 626)” at the Cathedral of Sant'Ignazio in Gorizia. In 2013 at the Circolo Officiali of Treviso a series of chamber and opera concerts dedicated to the figure of Verdi and Wagner. He attended several Master-Classes. On the Canary Island of La Palma in 2010 and 2011 he deepened the Italian and German chamber repertoire and the Verdi one. In 2011 he participated in the Master on the works taken from the plays of V. Hugo, in the role of Maddalena in the “Rigoletto” by G. Verdi, and performing in concert in the Venetian Villa Contarini Nenzi (Treviso). In 2014 at the Oratorio di Santa Cecilia in Bologna in the lieder cycle “Biblische Lieder op. 99 "by A. Dvořák and in the role of Curra in" La Forza del Destino "by G. Verdi at the Kloser Eberbach abbey and in the role of Maddalena in G. Verdi's" Rigoletto "in Chatou de Buc, near the Reggia of Versailles.

For many years she has been a pupil of the soprano Lucia Mazzaria, later specializing with the soprano Veronica Vascotto.
