Rosa Feola is one of the most sought-after sopranos of her generation; she has performed in many of the most prestigious theaters and festivals in the world, collaborating with illustrious conductors.

In 2020 she was awarded the Special Prize of the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.

Rosa Feola, born in San Nicola la Strada (Caserta), she graduated from the G. Martucci Conservatory of Salerno in 2008, subsequently perfecting herself with Renata Scotto at the National Academy of Santa Cecilia. She came to international attention after winning several prizes, including the Second Prize, the Audience Prize and the Zarzuela Prize at the Plácido Domingo World Opera Competition – Operalia (2010).
In 2020 she was awarded the Special Prize of the Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto.
Since her acclaimed debut as Corinna (Il viaggio a Reims) under the direction of Kent Nagano, Rosa Feola has performed such roles as Adina (L'elisir d'amore), Gilda (Rigoletto), Norina (Don Pasquale), Susanna (Le Nozze di Figaro), Amina (La Sonnambula), to name but a few, performing in many of the world's leading theaters, including Teatro alla Scala, the Metropolitan Opera in New York, the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma, the Opernhaus in Zurich, the Bayerische Staatsoper, the Ravenna Festival, the Lyric Opera of Chicago, the Teatro Regio of Turin, the Salzburg Festival, the Deutsche Oper of Berlin, Glyndebourne, the Teatro Real of Madrid the National Center for the Performing Arts of Beijing; he has collaborated with conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Fabio Luisi, Riccardo Chailly, Dan Ettinger, Nicola Luisotti, Giampaolo Bisanti and many others.
Among the successes of the past seasons, Adina in L'elisir d'amore at the Teatro alla Scala, at the Wiener Staatsoper and at the Hamburg Opera, Donna Fiorilla in Il Turco in Italia at the Zurich Opernhaus and at La Scala, Ilia in Idomeneo at the Rome Opera, Gilda in Oliver Mears' new production of Rigoletto at the Royal Opera House Covent Garden, plus a return in the same role at the Met with Daniele Rustioni, Don Pasquale at the Hamburg Staatsoper, Micaëla (Carmen) in Munich and The Capulets and the Montagues and Liù (Turandot) in Zurich.
Also in great demand as a concert pianist, Rosa Feola has performed in this capacity throughout the world, including recitals at the Park Avenue Armory in New York and at the Kennedy Center in Washington with pianist Iain Burnside. He participated in the inaugural concert of the Ravenna Festival 2020 under the direction of Riccardo Muti, and in the New Year's Concert 2021 of the Teatro La Fenice in Venice directed by Daniel Harding.
Among Rosa Feola's recent and upcoming engagements, two productions at the Metropolitan in New York, Rigoletto (Gilda) conducted by Speranza Scappucci and, to open in 2023, Fedora (Olga) in the new staging by David McVicar, directed by Marco Armiliato ; Rome, with Honeck at the Accademia di Santa Cecilia for Mozart's mass in C minor, Toulouse as the protagonist in Traviata, Zurich with Turandot, La Fenice in Venice again with Traviata.
In 2015 she released her debut album Music and Poetry (Opus Arte) with music by Respighi, Martucci, Ponchielli, Pinsuti and Liszt, accompanied by Iain Burnside.
