41 years old, born in Shenyang in north-eastern China, Lang Lang he has performed in the greatest concert halls in the world, for English royalty at Buckingham and Windsor and for Pope Francis at the Vatican. A classical virtuoso, he does not disdain forays into 'pop' and other musical genres: he played at the opening ceremony of the Beijing Olympics and at the Grammy Awards with Metallica, he shared the stage with Coldplay in New York and with jazz legends such as Herbie Hancock.
