TO Pavia from 6 to 27 June 2024 come back”Courtyards in music”, a series of chamber concerts set in the most beautiful historic courtyards of the city, spaces as fascinating as they are little-known and waiting to be discovered. Organized by Foundation I Soloists of Pavia and reached the IX edition, is now a fixed and much awaited event in the city's summer.

Suggestive and secret places will open up to the public, animated by notes: the internal courtyards of the Cairoli College, of the College Borromeo and of Building Malaspina will be the setting for the various events on the bill, which together with Soloists of Pavia feature the violinist as protagonists Pavel Berman, the saxophonist Federico Mondelci, Enrico Dindo on the cello, the first violin of La Scala Laura Marzadori and the narrator of Joel Dix.

News of the Cortili in Musica 2024 edition, the “Courtyards OFF”: two concerts that take the event outside the historic center of the city, the June 17 in the Scala district with the Pavia Cello Academy Quartet, and on June 24th at Cloister of the Basilica of San Lanfranco  with a string quartet of the Solisti di Pavia all feminine.

Courtyards in music 2024 kicks off  June 6 with the inaugural concept at theAlmo College Borromeo: they will go up on stage Pavel Berman (violin), Enrico Dindo (cello) and I Soloists of Pavia, engaged in music by Schubert and Mendelssohn. The concert will be preceded by the presentation of the "Andrea Astolfi" Award, an institutional moment that will give space to a conversation between the President of the Banca del Monte di Lombardia Foundation, Avv. Prof. Mario Cera and the President of Vidas, Dr. Ferruccio de Bortoli.

It continues on June 13 (6.30 pm) at theAula Magna of the Cairoli Brothers College with the final concert by the students of the Pavia Cello Academy, directed by Enrico Dindo, the first Cello Academy founded in Italy, emblem of the teaching vocation of the I Solisti di Pavia Foundation.

The June 19 (9.15 pm) a Malaspina Palace the Quintet of the Soloists of Pavia will host the saxophonist Federico Mondelci, with a program that ranges from Marcello to Rachmaninov, from Bernstein and Gershwin, up to Javier Girotto.

Grand finale on Thursday June 27 to the Cairoli College with the return of the first violin of the Teatro alla Scala, Laura Marzadori which, together with Soloists of Pavia, will perform the Sonata n.9 in A Major “A Kreutzer” by Ludwig Van Beethoven in the orchestration of Richard Tognetti, with introduction and narrative voice by Joel Dix, based on texts by Leo Tolstoy.
