Music with a view 2024 | 5th edition • widespread festival
The widespread festival that crosses the Bel Paese returns, bringing chamber music to the gardens and cloisters, to the villas and residences of an Italy to be discovered
From 21 June
to September 21, 2024
Organized by Amur Committee is Quartet mansions

Over 30 concerts and more than 300 collateral activities are scheduled

Come back again this summer Music with a view, the widespread chamber music festival that crosses the peninsula, bringing its concerts to the most beautiful places of a secret and intimate Italy, animating famous villas and gardens, cloisters and ancient residences. Over thirty concerts and more than 300 collateral activities are scheduled for the fifth edition of the event, conceived and organized by AMUR Committee with its historic concert institutions and The Dimore del Quartetto.

After the sold-out inaugural concert with the Goldberg Quartet last June 8th at the Miramare Castle in Trieste, Music with a view of 2024 comes to life June 21st and continues until 21 September touching a multiplicity of places spread across a dozen regions, from Trentino to Sicily, from Veneto to Campania. String trios and quartets made up of excellent young musicians, they will propose a complex musical journey, ranging from the most famous and loved composers to rarely heard songs and authors; the program alongside young talents features two piano stars such as Glory Campaner (21 June) e Ramin Bahrami (September 5).

The main objective of Musica con Vista is to support the new generation of young classical music talents, enhance the Italian cultural heritage, while creating a widespread tourist activity that connects the main cities to suburbs and villages, soliciting and stimulating the local microeconomy. The Festival promotes slow, passionate and curious tourism, bringing a diverse audience closer to the discovery of a hidden Italy, involving cultural operators, bodies that preserve historical heritage and local communities.

AMUR Committee was born in May 2020 from the desire to bring together some of the most important Italian chamber music institutions in a single body, with the aim of promoting common activities and objectives. Preceded by the five-year experience of Networked Music Associations (hence “AMUR”), the Committee was formed by proposing itself as a propulsive and proactive force, for a concrete and national response to cultural life, also aiming at participation in international networks. The value of creating a system, which has always united the institutions involved, is transformed into a common commitment: from Trieste to Palermo, the historic concert bodies come together with the mission of relaunching classical music concert activity in the country, enhancing the programming concerts of the members of the Amur Committee and promoting common projects such as the circulation of young professionals, festivals, tours for Italian and international artists, conferences, cultural trips, events that enrich Italian and European cultural life. The Committee pays particular attention to the young public by committing itself to planning open tests and special projects aimed at schools.

The Dimore del Quartetto is a creative cultural enterprise that since 2015 has supported young international string quartets and chamber music ensembles in starting their careers and enhances European cultural heritage, in a circular economy. With a consolidated network in the field of music and cultural heritage, it deals with planning through the organization of festivals and travel itineraries, masterclasses, master classes and training courses for musicians, educational projects for schools and universities, training and activities of team-building for companies, artistic residencies and concerts in historic homes and other places of cultural interest.
