Mezzo-soprano of international renown, Monica Bacelli has distinguished herself for a marked musical and scenic personality which has led her to be a reference interpreter.

She made her debut very young and embarked on a brilliant career in the main theaters (from Scala to the Staatsoper in Vienna, from Covent Garden to the San Francisco Opera) and concert institutions (from the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia to the Philharmonie in Berlin) collaborating with the major conductors of orchestra and directors.

Monica Bacelli graduated with Maria Vittoria Romano and Donato Martorella at the Pescara Conservatory, won the Belli Competition in Spoleto which led her to debut at the Experimental Theater as Cherubino in The Marriage of Figaro and Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte.
