The first Ballet Season signed by Manuel Legris opens with great news since the inauguration, with the debut of Rudolf Nureyev's bayadère, so far represented only by the Paris Opera Ballet for which it was created in 1992 and which will now be staged for the first time by Corps de Ballet of the Scala. Eight performances, which have been rescheduled, from 21 December to 13 January.

A great debut is therefore expected for the artists of La Scala in this production with new sets and costumes designed for this first Scala artist by Luisa Spinatelli, who renews his collaboration with La Scala and with Manuel Legris, as well as Kevin Rhodes, again on the podium to direct theScala Orchestra. The ballet was revived in collaboration with Florence Clerc, former étoile of the Paris Opera, from Ball Director Manuel Legris, interpreter of the role of Solor since creation and for countless occasions in Paris and on tour.

In the main roles they will dance in the premiere of December 21 (7 pm) Nicoletta Manni (Nikiya), Timofej Andrijashenko (Solor) e Maria Celeste Losa (Gamzatti).
