Matteo Beltrami boasts a twenty-year career of international scope, which has taken him to the majority of Italian theaters and to numerous prestigious institutions abroad.

Matteo Beltrami has been the protagonist of the growth of the Teatro Coccia in Novara of which he has been Music Director since 2017 and was Artistic Director for the 2018/2019 season, an experience during which he created, among other things, the academy of the Coccia Theater, aimed at singers And
orchestra conductors.

Graduated in violin at the “N. Paganini” in Genoa and in Orchestra Conducting at the “G. Verdi” in Milan, Matteo Beltrami he made his debut at the age of twenty as conductor at the Teatro Carlo Felice in
Genoa conducting Il Trovatore.
 
Matteo Beltrami has been the protagonist of the growth of the Teatro Coccia in Novara of which he has been Music Director since 2017 and was Artistic Director for the 2018/2019 season: in three years opera productions have doubled, a concert season has been born and the new "Fuori di Coccia" music festival, to enhance the musical heritage of the Chapel of the Cathedral of Novara. Always during the experience of Artistic Director he creates the academy of the Coccia Theater, aimed at singers and
conductors, then renamed, in 2019 "AMO" (Accademia dei Mestieri dell'Opera).
 
He was Artistic Director of the July Musicale Trapani from January 2021 to May 2022.
 
Often referred to as one of the most promising young Italian conductors, Matteo Beltrami has debuted more than fifty operatic titles ranging from Baroque to world premieres of contemporary works, working in most of the Italian theaters, including Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Teatro La Fenice Theater in Venice, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Regio in Turin, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona, Teatro Lirico in Cagliari, Teatro Regio in Parma and Festival Verdi, Valle d'Itria Festival, Puccini Festival in Torre del Lago.
 
There was no lack of prestigious engagements abroad, in theaters such as the Deutsche Oper in Berlin, the Semperoper in Dresden, the Staatsoper in Hamburg, the NCPA in Beijing, the Royal Opera in Stockholm, the Stuttgart Opera, the Arriaga Theater in Bilbao, the Spoleto/Charleston Festival (USA) , Montpellier Opera House, and with orchestras such as Sächsische Staatskapelle of Dresden, Goyania Symphony Orchestra, Latvian National Philharmonic Orchestra, NWD Philharmonie, State Hermitage Orchestra, St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Balearic Philharmonic Orchestra.
 
Among his recordings and recordings, the DVDs of Donizetti's Il campanello for Bongiovanni, Rossini's Il viaggio a Reims, Aida and Rigoletto for Sky Classica HD and the CD of Don Checco by De Giosa for Dynamic.
 
Recent engagements include La traviata in Graz; Nabucco, Don Pasquale, Turandot and Madama Butterfly at the Hamburg Staatsoper; Ernani in Bonn; The Barber of Seville in Hannover and at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin; Requiem by Cherubini at the Teatro Filarmonico in Verona and at the Teatro Lirico in Cagliari; The favorite in Piacenza and at the Teatro Regio in Parma; L'elisir d'amore at the Teatro Regio in Turin; The Troubadour in Palma de Mallorca; Tosca and Aida at the Stockholm Royal Opera; Rigoletto on tour in Japan with the Comunale di Bologna; Carmen at the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino; L'elisir d'amore at the Semperoper in Dresden, Cinderella at the Cologne Opera.
 
Among Matteo Beltrami's future projects, La bohème in Palma de Mallorca; Cherubini's Il Trovatore and Requiem at the Teatro Municipale in Piacenza; Lucia di Lammermoor at the Deutsche Oper in Berlin; The Elixir of Love in Cologne; La traviata in Hamburg; Aida in Menorca.
