Magnetic Opera Festival 2022 - Elba Island
8. edition of the festival in the most beautiful places on the Island of Elba, star in the bill José Carreras and countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński
Return to animate the most evocative localities ofElba island the Magnetic Opera Festival, on the calendar from 8 to 26 July 2022 to Portoferraio, Porto Azzurro is Capoliveri, with the proven formula of musical events under the stars, in dialogue with the beauties of the area.

Organized by the Artistic Cultural Association Maggyart and arrived at8th edition, the Magnetic Opera Festival 2022 designs a program that ranges between different genres, from opera to swing, from baroque and chamber repertoire to pages for organ: the billboard offers eight events, five evening appointments and three matinees, with repertoires designed to involve all types of spectators, from music addicts to the neophyte, from the music lover to the simple curious.

Two stars of the show, the young Polish countertenor Jakub Józef Orliński is José Carreras, one of the most famous tenors even among the general public.

And it will be Jakub Józef Orliński to open the Magnetic Opera Festival on Friday July 8 to Portoferraio (9.30 pm, at theArchaeological area of Linguella), with the inaugural concert Young Heroes, a journey into the most refined and exciting Baroque repertoire, an invitation into the mythical and heroic world of the works of Georg Friedrich Händel is Antonio Vivaldi, made up of spells, battles and love stories.

Orliński, for the first time on the Island of Elba, he is a cult artist, one of the most popular contemporary stars in the panorama of international classical music, with performances and recitals that are sold out both in Europe and in the United States. With him on the stage of the Magnetic Opera Festival, the mezzo-soprano Natalia Kawałek - welcome return -, repertoire specialist and star of the successful album with Orliński Enemies In Love. To accompany the soloists, the baroque ensemble The Garden of Love, directed by the master Stefan Plewniak in the double role of conductor and soloist on the violin.

The Festival continues on Monday July 11 (9.30 pm) in Matteotti Square in Porto Azzurro with Swinging Generation, a crossover project between swing, classical and pop music, with arrangements that blend different musical styles. Protagonists of the evening, the versatile Natalia Kawałek, here engaged in a completely different repertoire than the inaugural concert, and the vocalist Stan Plewniak. With them, The FeelHarmony band driven by Stefan Plewniak.,

For the third appointment, Wednesday July 13 (11 am) to Sanctuary of the Madonna delle Grazie in Capoliveri, the Magnetic Opera Festival presents for the first time an organ concert: the occasion is given by the recent, demanding restoration of theancient organ by Filippo Tronci, strongly supported by the Maggyart association. The valuable instrument, dated 1738 and now returned to its ancient splendor, it is decidedly innovative for the organ building context of the time in central Italy, and is known for being the first instrument made by the master organ builder Filippo Tronci at the young age of 21.

Expressly for this ancient organ, the Styrian multi-instrumentalist Georg Gratzer and the Austrian organist, improviser and conductor Johannes Ebenbauer have devised an ad hoc project, Organsc Woodwinds, concert for organ and saxophone, with improvisations on Gregorian chants and medieval hymns, arrangements from the classical repertoire and own compositions.

Monday July 18 (9.30 pm) back to Linguella of Portoferraio for the culmination of the Magnetic Opera Festival, the gala concert An evening with José Carreras. The Spanish tenor, famous all over the world for his brilliant solo career and for his commitment to the dissemination of opera with the ensemble of the Three Tenors alongside Luciano Pavarotti and Plácido Domingo, will perform in a concert under the banner of the most famous repertoire lyric and his legendary voice. Next to him the Croatian-Slovenian soprano Martina Zadro, constant presence on the international opera scene; to accompany them, theSymphony Orchestra of Verdi's Lands directed by M ° David Giménez.

Tuesday July 26 (9.30 pm), always at Linguella of Portoferraio, closes the Magnetic Opera Festival 2022 La Boheme, the masterpiece of Giacomo Puccini, directed by Alessandro Brachetti and the sets and costumes of Artemio Cabassi. Protagonists in the roles of Mimì and Rodolfo, the soprano Renata Campanella and the tenor Diego Cavazzin, the Choir of the Parma Opera it is prepared by the master Emiliano Esposito, directs Stephen Giaroli, on the podium ofSymphony Orchestra of Verdi's Lands.

Finally, program three complete Chamber music matinee. The concerts are offered in Piazza Matteotti in Capoliveri at 10 am on Sunday 10th of July, Sunday July 17 Its tuesday July 26.
