Characteristic of the Festival is its immersion: for four or five days, from morning until late at night, the entire historic center is invaded by music, performed in squares, historic buildings, churches, theaters and in every place where it is possible to play, create culture and talk about beauty.

Music invades the city and its spaces for this special edition of the Lucca Classica Music Festival which celebrates 10 years of programming, the 60th of the Lucca Music Association and the centenary of the death of GIacomo Puccini.

Theatres, churches, squares, museums and historic buildings in the historic center of Lucca and in other places in the area are transformed into a large widespread stage on which sounds, words and emotions are staged, through an extraordinary and innovative experience of immersion in music .

Lucca Classica opens a window on the "score of the world" and on the "capacity of music to make people, languages, cultures talk to each other", to give new horizons and stimulate multiple points of observation.
Program
Symphonic concerts, chamber music, jazz, classical and contemporary, guided tours and conferences, family events to get to know the city and its rich historical and cultural heritage in a new way.
Highlighted
The city of Lucca is famous for its well-preserved city walls, which extend for approximately 4 kilometers and surround the historic center of the city. The walls date back to the 16th century and represent one of the best examples of Renaissance fortifications in Italy.

Climbing the Guinigi Tower is certainly one of the most evocative ways to enjoy a panoramic view of the city. Once you reach the top of the 25 flights of stairs, you can admire a 360-degree panorama that extends from the city to the surrounding hills. But the presence of a small garden with holm oak trees on the top of the tower is what makes this experience even more extraordinary.
