Inaugurates the brand new one on New Year's Eve winter edition ofHermans Festival in Valnerina, complementary to the now historic summer festival. High level artists and valuable ancient organs are the cornerstones of the rhythmic programming in the first quarter of the year and placed in the traditional places of the festival.

From January 1st to March 27th I'm nine the appointments put on the bill by Hermans Festival Winter 2022: five early music concerts in Convent of San Francesco of Arrone, is four organ concertos with voices and instruments which will once again see the prestigious organs of Collescipoli, Luca Neri and Willem Hermans, the latter from 1678, one of the oldest and most important in Italy.

The organists guests of the new Hermans Winter Festival I'm Johannes Skudlik (Germany), Giulio Markets (Swiss), Stefano Molardi (Italy) e Markku Mäkinen (Finland).

The ancient music concerts are taken care of byHermans Academy, which will present three new projects and two shots of events already successfully proposed at relevant seasons and festivals.

The three debut programs are dedicated to Mozart Church Sonatas (Opening concert on January 1st, with the participation of the violinist Alessandro Ciccolini), at Sonatas for flute and harpsichord by “Telemann ei Bach", Johann Sebastian and Carl Philipp Emanuel (January 23), at Cantatas, Arias and Concerts by Handel and Bach, the two titans of musical baroque, with the soprano Lucia Casagrande Raffi is Fabio Ceccarelli, flute traversiere (“The missed challenge”, closing concert on March 27).

Two successful projects complete the program, with the participation of two internationally renowned singers who join the musicians of theHermans Academy, the soprano Roberta Invernizzi (Haendel in Italy, March 12) and the baritone Mauro Borgioni (Telemann, Der Harmonische Gottesdienst, February 20).

Hermans Festival Winter 2022 is a project conceived and curated by the W. Hermans Baroque Academy in collaboration with the Hermans Festival Association and the Municipality of Arrone, with the contribution of the Cassa di Risparmio di Terni and Narni Foundation and the Federica and Brunello Cucinelli Foundation.

THEREWillelm Hermans Baroque Academy was formed as an association in October 2000 and is made up of instrumentalists and singers specialized in the performance of ancient music with various opportunities for variation depending on the repertoire. The Academy's musicians boast multiple professional experiences both in Italy and abroad and have had the opportunity to distinguish themselves in prestigious festivals and competitions, highlighting marked musical and interpretative skills. The language developed by the group is the result of the right balance between the knowledge of the performance practice for early music and the interpretative experience of the individual instrumentalists. The Hermans Academy has recorded numerous CDs for various record labels such as Bongiovanni, Tactus, La Bottega Discantica, Brilliant Class (Holland), Glossa (Spain), making use of the participation of illustrious soloists including Roberta Invernizzi, Bart Van Oort, Mauro Borgioni , Enrico Gatti, Gloria Banditelli. He carries out an intense artistic activity in the Umbrian territory, recording CDs in historical places (palaces and churches), organizing festivals and concerts, taking care of the artistic direction of the Hermans Festival - organ and ancient music concerts - and, from the 2010 Season / 11, is the resident Orchestra of the Cucinelli Theater in Solomeo di Corciano (PG). She has performed in the best national musical seasons and has been invited to play for international festivals in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Finland, Estonia, Poland, Denmark, Holland, Germany, Serbia and Russia.
