Symphony Season 'Autumn Concerts 2021'

The FORM (Marche Regional Orchestra Foundation) - Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra is one of the 14 Italian Orchestral Concert Institutions recognized by the Ministry for Cultural Heritage and Activities.

The Orchestra deals with both the symphonic and the lyric repertoire with remarkable flexibility and ductility on an artistic-interpretative level, ranging from the Baroque to the twentieth century to contemporary music.

It realizes a rich Symphonic Season in the regional context, performing some of its productions also at prestigious Italian Theaters and Concert Societies and participates in important opera events: it is the resident orchestra of the Macerata Opera Festival, it was the resident orchestra for the opera seasons of the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona and the Pergolesi Theater in Jesi and is the reference orchestra for the seasons of the theaters of the Marche Opera Network (Teatro dell'Aquila in Fermo, Teatro della Fortuna in Fano, Ventidio Basso Theater in Ascoli Piceno).

Precisely by virtue of its flexibility, the Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra promotes and collaborates on projects that go beyond the classical and contemporary symphonic repertoire; numerous and of enormous importance collaborations with artists of the national and international jazz scene.

The FORM-Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra currently makes use of the Artistic direction of the Master Fabio Tiberi and of main direction of the Master Alessandro Bonato.

The Marchigiana Philharmonic Orchestra performs an average of ninety concerts a year, twenty of which are intended for school audiences and educational activities, with over twenty thousand spectators present. It also participates in the realization of about forty opera performances per year both in the regional and extra-regional context.

Formed in February 2000 by the Marche Region, the Marche Polytechnic University and the Marchigiana Philharmonic Society, FORM has seen the number of its founding and supporting members grow in recent years, welcoming the participation of various institutional subjects that contribute to the realization of the aim. cultural heritage to which it aspires: to become an element of identity for a region with a rich and diversified musical tradition. This is achieved through two main complementary directions: the constitution and management of a stable professional orchestral complex capable of continuously carrying out musical production and distribution programs in collaboration with bodies, theaters and institutions of the regional territory; the development and dissemination of musical culture in the Marche region and the organization of regional, national and international concerts.

The consolidation and strengthening of the presence of the orchestra on the regional territory, combined with the progressive stabilization of the staff, are the hallmark of a path that aims at defining an identity that is increasingly consistent with the constitutive spirit of the FORM: the strengthening of orchestra in its role as a fundamental pillar of the lyric-symphonic system of the Marche region.
