This year, too, the Toscanini Foundation brings music to community spaces with over 50 events, including concerts, workshops, and performances.

The 50th Concert Season of the Arturo Toscanini Philharmonic marks a symbolic milestone for one of Italy's leading symphonic institutions. Founded in 1975 as the Orchestra Stabile dell'Emilia-Romagna, the Toscanini celebrates half a century of activity with a program that combines historical repertoire, attention to the present, and international outreach. The season is divided into eighteen symphonic programs, hosted mainly at the Paganini Auditorium in Parma, the central venue for concert activity.

The central element of the 2025/2026 project is the presence of Kent Nagano As Principal Artistic Partner, he is engaged in several programs spanning key moments in the symphonic tradition, from Beethoven to Mahler to Stravinsky. Alongside him, the season welcomes leading conductors and soloists, including Maria João Pires, Midori, Mischa Maisky, Han-Na Chang, Roberto Abbado, Christoph Eschenbach, and Wayne Marshall, establishing an artistic profile of international scope. .

A distinctive feature of the program is the constant presence of contemporary music. The project Ecosounds The program includes ten new commissions from Italian composers, with works inspired by themes of nature, the environment, and sustainability. This line complements a repertoire that ranges from Classicism to the 20th century, creating a balance between continuity and renewal, a hallmark of the Toscanini Philharmonic on its fiftieth anniversary. .
