Fausto Zadra Piano Festival 2022 • Corato and Cellamare
The Apulian review reaches its twelfth edition, with the great Argentine pianist Daniel Rivera
Takes place from 2 to 18 September 2022 to Corato is Cellamare there XII edition of the Fausto Zadra Piano Festival: I am eleven concerts foreseen by the review that this year will have the great Argentine pianist among the top guests Daniel Rivera.

The billboard signed by the well-known Apulian concert player and teacher Filippo Balducci, creator and artistic director of the Festival, presents internationally renowned artists alongside extraordinary young talents, in a varied and attractive program that combines piano recitals with chamber music. The concerts, starting at 9 pm, will take place at the Cloister of the Municipality of Corato and the Caracciolo Castle of Cellamare.

In preview at the review, the 2 September the young participants in the advanced piano course held by Maestro Balducci will present themselves to the public of Corato for the final essay.

Saturday September 3, 2022, always at City Palace of Corato, will be the well-known Argentine pianist Daniel Rivera to inaugurate there XII edition of the Fausto Zadra Piano Festival with the concert 'Passionate'.

Rivera, who for years has been paired on stage with the lady of the piano Martha Argerich, will be engaged in a fascinating and virtuosic program including the famous Sonata op. 57 "Passionate" of Beethoven, alongside equally well-known pages of Chopin (Nocturne op. 27 n. 2, Andante spianato and Grande Polonaise brilliant op. 22) And Liszt (the Transcendental Studies No. 10, also often referred to as "Passionate", is n. 12 and the Reminiscences from Norma di Bellini).

Following, Spotlight on young people, double appointment with the Apulian pianist Fabio Di Gennaro, emerging talent (result the best participant in the summer piano workshop) that Sunday September 4th in Corato and Monday 5 at Cellamare he will perform in a program including the Sonata in B minor of Liszt, music by Skrjabin is Chopin.

Another double concert is the one proposed Friday 9 (Cellamare) and Saturday September 10 (Corato) to remember the thirtieth anniversary of the death of Astor Piazzolla: the Parsifal Piano Trio composed of Jalle Feest to the violin, Emilia Slugocka on the cello e Anna Paola Milea at the piano, which will pay homage to the father of the New tango performing famous pieces such as the Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, Oblivion, Adios Nonino, Libertango and other ('Trio for tango').

Sunday Sept. 11 in Corato the Festival audience will have the opportunity to listen Antonio Di Cristofano, pianist with a consolidated international career, in a program that combines music by Skrjabin is Chopin (Skryabin, the Russian 'Chopin');

instead it will be an unusual duo formed by the guitarist Lapo Vannucci and the pianist Luca Torrigiani to animate the following concerts on Wednesday September 14 in Cellamare e Thursday 15 in Corato: born in 2010 with the aim of exploring new areas of the repertoire for guitar and piano, the duo will engage in a varied program including Italian and Spanish themes of Matteo Carcassi, Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco, Federico Moreno Torroba, Francisco Tàrrega, Teresa Procaccini, Francesco Di Fiore, Lucianna Bigazzi and Maurizio Colonna ('Memories of Italian and Spanish themes for 88 frets and 6 strings').

Finally, the Fausto Zadra Piano Festival 2022 will close with the double appointment scheduled Saturday 17 (Corato) and Sunday September 18th (Cellamare): the duo made up of Luca Provenzani on the cello e Fabiana Barbini at the piano will propose a selection of 'Chamber masterpieces of the nineteenth century', performing songs by Felix Mendelssohn, Max Bruch, Gabriel Fauré is Richard Strauss.
