Ettore Pagano, recent winner of the Aram Khachaturian International Competition in Armenia, of the Johannes Brahms 2020 Competition (Austria) and numerous other prizes and awards, has already given numerous recitals as a soloist throughout Italy and has toured in Italy and abroad .

Born in Rome in 2003, Ettore Pagano he began studying the cello at the age of nine. He studied under the guidance of Riccardo Martinini and obtained a three-year degree in cello at the Conservatory of S. Cecilia in Rome where he graduated in the academic year 2020/2021 with honors and honorable mention. He obtained the Artist Diploma at the Walter Stauffer Academy in Cremona under the guidance of Antonio Meneses. Previously he attended the Pavia Cello Academy with Enrico Dindo.
Student of the Chigiana Academy since 2019 under the guidance of Masters Antonio Meneses and David Geringas, in 2019 he obtained the Diploma of Honor of M ° Antonio Meneses and in 2020 the Scholarship of the Rotary club Siena.
In June 2022 he obtained the First Prize, the Prize for the best Sonata and two other Special Prizes at the XVIII Kachaturian International Competition in Armenia. In 2020 he obtained the first prize in the Johannes Brahms International Competition (AT), obtaining in the final phase the full score of the jury, for the first time in the history of the Competition.
In 2020, at the age of 16, he was among the seven finalists of the International Senior Competition Antonio Janigro in Zagreb, the youngest competitor among a hundred candidates from all over the world and, again in 2020, he won the Anna Kull Competition in Graz.
In 2019 he obtained the first prize at the Competition for young musicians organized by the Filarmonica della Scala in Milan, obtaining the scholarship in memory of "Maura Giorgetti".
In 2017 he was the winner of the second prize (1st not awarded) awarded by the New York International Artist Association.
Since 2013 Ettore has obtained first prizes with relative scholarships in about forty national and international competitions in the young and adult category.
Ettore has performed several Concerts for cello and orchestra in Italy and abroad, including the Concerto n. 1 by Schostakovich, the Concerto no. 1 by Saint-Saëns, both Haydn's Concerts, Tchaikowsky's Rococo Variations, Kachaturian's concerto-rhapsody.
He has collaborated with the Croatian National Radio Orchestra, the Graz Philharmonic Orchestra, the Klaipeda Chamber Orchestra, the Euro Symphony Orchestra SFK, the Sicilian Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of Herbert Soudant, Ingo Ingesand, Ernst Hoetzl.
He has toured in Italy and abroad, in Germany he played in Hamburg and Kiel, in Austria at the Opera Graz, in the United States in New York -Carnegie Hall, as well as numerous recitals as a soloist throughout Italy.
Ettore has attended numerous masterclasses in Italy and abroad with masters such as Mario Brunello, David Geringas, Jens Peter Maintz, Thomas Demenga, Asier Polo, Giovanni Sollima.
