"Videocittà 2021 - The Vision Festival"
Closes on September 19 (9.30 pm) with an imaginative concert between sounds and images the fourth edition of the review Videocittà 2021.

The Vision Festival proposes the consolidated closing appointment in collaboration with theOrchestra of the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia directed by Michelangelo Galeati, putting music and great cinema in dialogue in a spectacular contemporary show.

Piazza John Kennedy, against the backdrop of the Palazzo dei Congressi in Rome, is the location chosen for the Tribute to John Williams, great master of cinema, author of the soundtracks of the major blockbusters of the last 40 years.

Conductor, composer, five-time Academy Award winner for best soundtrack, he has collaborated with world-renowned directors such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas and Chris Columbus.

Sue are unforgettable music, from the saga of Star Wars to Schindler's List, from Indiana Jones to ET the extraterrestrial, The Shark and Jurassic Park, from Saving Private Ryan to Superman and Harry Potter.

It will be the Master Michelangelo Galeati to direct the'Orchestra of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, made up of over sixty musicians, in an engaging selection from this thrilling repertoire, loved by all cinephiles.

An unmissable opportunity to retrace the history of cinema through evocative soundtracks with a great emotional impact, enriched by the projections on the spectacular facade of the Palazzo dei Congressi created by Studio Cliche.

L'Orchestra of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome It is made up of young musicians, students and alumni of the Roman Conservatory, and for years it has been present in the cultural fabric of the city, organizing concerts in collaboration with Institutions, Museums and Academies. In 2020 she was the protagonist of the Christmas Concert at the Chamber of Deputies, an event also featured in the RAI schedules.

Michelangelo Galeati, conductor and cellist, he teaches at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, where he also deals with cultural and musical projects at European level. His artistic activity has taken him to South America, Europe, Russia and China, directing symphonic, multimedia and opera projects. Over the years he has conducted several times in Austria and Germany, where he was guest conductor of the Trier Orchestra and the Berliner Symphonikern Orchestra at the prestigious Berlin Philharmonie. Michelangelo Galeati also dedicated himself to the enhancement, revision and dissemination of the lesser-known Italian instrumental repertoire of the 19th century, recording three monographs focusing on chamber music by Rossini, Donizetti and Mercadante for the Musikstrasse record company.
