Chiara Amarù has performed in important productions at the Rossini Opera Festival, in the major Italian theaters, from the Scala in Milan to the Massimo in Palermo to the Fenice in Venice, as well as in the theaters of the cities of Lisbon, Montpellier, Toulouse, Tours..

In 2010 on the occasion of the Pavarotti d'oro award she performed in concert with Andrea Bocelli, and in 2013, very young, she was awarded the prestigious Oscar della Lirica.

Chiara Amarù was born in Palermo where she began her musical studies under the guidance of her parents, joined the children's choir of the Teatro Massimo and obtained a diploma in opera singing with honors at the Vincenzo Bellini conservatory.
 
From 2009 to 2011 he attended the Scuola dell'Opera Italiana at the Teatro Comunale in Bologna, continuing a busy concert and opera career.
 
In 2010 she made her debut in the character of Idamante in Idomeneo at the Comunale di Bologna, she was Assunta in Naples millionaire at the Valle D'Itria Festival and performed in concert with Andrea Bocelli on the occasion of the 2010 Pavarotti d'oro award.
 
Other early engagements include: Angelina in La Cenerentola in the theaters of the Circuito Lombardo, at the Massimo in Palermo and at the Comunale in Bologna; Amenofi in Moses in Egypt at the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro; Mass in C minor by Mozart at the Lirico in Cagliari and the Stabat Mater by GB Pergolesi at the Comunale in Bologna; Marianna in Signor Bruschino; Isaura in Tancredi and Malcolm in La donna del Lago for the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro; Fidalma in The Secret Marriage at the Teatro Regio in Turin; Rosina in The Barber of Seville in Palermo.
 
The appointments of the most recent seasons have then seen her protagonist as Isabella in L'Italiana in Algeri at the Comunale in Bologna, at the Petruzzelli in Bari, at the Fenice in Venice, at the Verdi in Trieste and at the opera house in Tours; Angelina in La Cenerentola in Treviso, Ferrara, Turin, Palermo and Lisbon; Isolier in Le comte Ory at the Teatro alla Scala; Rosina in Il Barbiere di Siviglia in Turin, Venice and Pesaro where she was also the protagonist in a series of bel canto concerts; Sara in Roberto Devereux in Florence; Preziosilla in La forza del destino in Parma and at the Verona Philharmonic; Pamela in Fra Diavolo in Palermo; Rosina in The Barber of Seville and Dorabella in Cosi fan tutte in Rome; Meg in Falstaff in Cagliari; The Barber of Seville at the Teatro Regio in Parma and in Lima; The Puritans in Montpellier. She was Aristea in What Originals! by Mayr and performed the Messa da Requiem at the Donizetti Festival in Bergamo. An artist also active in the concert field, she was applauded in Mozart's Requiem in Bari; in a Rossini Gala at the Verdi in Milan; in Rossini's Stabat Mater in Toulouse, and later with the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington and Carnegie Hall in New York then in Paris (TCE – Les Grandes Voix); Cinderella, The Barber of Seville and the Petite messe solennelle in Palermo.
 
In 2013 Chiara Amarù received the prestigious Oscar della Lirica.
 
He has performed Symphony No. 9 in Palermo and The Barber of Seville in Melbourne and on tour in Australia and at the Baths of Caracalla; Meg in Falstaff in Valencia; Rossini's Stabat Mater in Rome and Saint Denis conducted by Chung; La Calisto at La Scala in Milan; Cinderella in Bologna and Bari; Roberto Devereux in Palermo; Joan of Arc and Stabat Mater in Bilbao. He has just debuted the role of Romeo in I Capuleti ei Montecchi at Massimo Bellini in Catania live on Rai 5.
 
Upcoming engagements include The Barber of Seville at the Fenice in Venice; Le zite n' galera at the Teatro alla Scala.
