Dramatic soprano

Dramatic soprano with great breadth and volume, with a dark lady look. Just wonderful.

After the academic diploma in opera singing at the Verona Conservatory in 2016, Anastasia Bartoli sang the role of Rosina in The Barber of Seville at the Teatro Ristori in Verona in a workshop with the director Pier Francesco Maestrini. In 2017 she was chosen by Carlo Rizzi to perform excerpts from Cavalleria Rusticana (Santuzza) at the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon. He made his debut in Cavalleria Rusticana (Lola) at the Castell'Arquato Festival conducted by Sergio Alapont and directed by Vivien Hewitt and in Così fan tutte (Fiordiligi) at the Teatro Municipal in Lima. In 2018 she was again Rosina in The Barber of Seville at the Teatro Fonderia in Verona in a workshop by director Marco Gandini. In the same year he won the 1st prize ex aequo at the Verdi Voices Competition in Busseto and was a guest at the Lugo Prize concert awarded to the tenor Yusif Eyvazov.


She then made her debut in Mascagni's opera Sì, in the role of Vera Princess of Chablis, at the Teatro Goldoni in Livorno, under the direction of Valerio Galli. He also performed in Padua in a concert with I Solisti Veneti in memory of Claudio Scimone and in a Christmas gala at the Roman Opera of Craiova together with Fabio Armiliato and Alberto Gazale. In March 2019 she made her debut at the Bellini Theater in Catania singing the role of Olga in Giordano's Fedora. In October she made her debut at the Teatro Regio in Parma singing in a Verdi gala together with Leo Nucci and in December she sang her first Donna Elvira in Don Giovanni at the Teatro Verdi in Padua, conducted by Jordi Bernàcer.


Recently she was Hanna Glawari in La Vedova Allegra at the Teatro Verdi in Padua, she made her role debut as Lady Macbeth in Verdi's Macbeth at the Tokyo Spring Festival conducted by Riccardo Muti while in Trieste she performed Rossini's Stabat Mater, which she also performed in Turin with the Rai National Symphony Orchestra conducted by Michele Spotti; she was the star of an opera gala in Arezzo. In recent months she has added important roles to her repertoire interpreting: Abigaille in Nabucco staged at the Petruzzelli Theater in Bari; Maria Boccanegra in Simon Boccanegra staged at the Teatro Masimo in Palermo, alongside Placido Domingo in the title role; Elvira in Ernani at the Teatro dell'Opera in Rome conducted by Marco Armiliato; Nedda in Pagliacci at the Lirico in Cagliari where she will return as the protagonist of Gloria di Cilea.
She made her debut at the Marseille Opera with her first Verdi role, Lady Macbeth in G. Verdi's Macbeth conducted by Maestro Paolo Arrivabeni.
