“ArmonicaMente” will start on May 14th in Pavia, a project that combines music and mental health
Synergy between Music and Therapy in the New Initiative of the Soloists of Pavia and ASST
The “ArmonicaMente” project, launched by the I Solisti di Pavia Foundation in collaboration with the Mental Health Department of ASST Pavia, will begin on 14 May 2024. This innovative program aims to explore and exploit the therapeutic benefits of music through various activities: choral singing led by Maria Teresa Tramontin, individual and group music therapy sessions led by Marta Gianotti, and chamber concerts performed by the Pavia Soloists with introductions and guided listening.

The project not only offers therapeutic support but also acts as a cultural and artistic bridge in the Pavia area, involving various players in the sector to improve the emotional and psychological well-being of individuals, especially the most vulnerable ones.

The project will be divided into three main fronts: music therapy classes for users of residential and semi-residential facilities, a choir open to all services, and a series of concerts in various venues, including the Fraschini Theater and the "Cortili in Musica" exhibition ”.

The Soloists of Pavia: History of Success and Innovation

The ensemble 'I Solisti di Pavia', founded on 21 December 2001 and inspired by the meeting between Andrea Astolfi and the famous Russian cellist Mstislav Rostropovich, has gained international fame, performing in prestigious concert halls worldwide.

Thanks to the talent and enthusiasm of Enrico Dindo, the ensemble has always ranged in its repertoire, moving with ease from baroque to contemporary to crossover projects such as “Valentina! A comic cello", which led to combining the comic art of Guido Crepax with the compositions of Jorge Bosso.
