“ Musical Autumn 2022 ”
'In the Olympus of Beethoven': Alessandro Taverna at the piano, the OVenetian Philharmonic Orchestra and the promising young conductor Alessandro Cappelletto will give life to a concert of excellence, scheduled for Wednesday December 14, 2022 (8.45 pm) to Mario Theater of Monaco of Treviso and Sunday 18 (same time) at the ALexander Girardi Hall of cortina d'Ampezzo.

The Treviso appointment is part of the program of theMusical Autumn 2022, fourth edition of the widespread festival organized by Musincantus in collaboration with the Common of Treviso and local cultural institutions.

In Beethoven's Olympus instead it is a multi-year project, born thanks to the synergy between Musicincantus, the teacher Donato Renzetti is Objective orchestra of the School of High Musical Specialization of Saluzzo, the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition, L'Regional Orchestra Filarmonia Veneta and the TRT Philharmonic – Teatro Regio Turin. The initiative, launched in 2021, it will end in the Olympic year 2026, and puts the i theaters of Treviso, Legnago (Verona) and Curtain d'Ampezzo (Belluno) with an original formula: the performance will be proposed in the three rooms complete of Beethoven's instrument concertos, flanking every time an established artist in the international scene and a young rising star (alternately, pianist and conductor).

In the 2022 edition, the musical tandem is formed by the Venetian Alessandro Taverna, acclaimed pianist who performs regularly with major orchestras and in the most prestigious theaters of the world, and from Alessandro Cappelletto, young conductor trained at the Scuola di Alto Perfezionamento Musicale in Saluzzo, making his debut in the inaugural concert of the restored Teatro Malibran in Venice.

The concert program opens with a piece by Antonio Salieri, L'Overture of the heroic drama The kidnapped bucket: lively score, in which the composer inserted numerous musically descriptive effects, extended instrumental passages and surprises using three timpani for the first time in the history of music.

The central part of the evening is dedicated to Concerto for piano and orchestra n.1 op.15 of Ludwig van Beethoven, a work with a brilliant sound result, composed between 1795 and 1798 and probably performed by the same author during the 1798 concert tour in Prague.

The concert will end with the Third Symphony in D major D.200 of Franz Schubert, written in 1815 in just three months. The rapidity of the composition is echoed by a light grace and a flowing freshness, in the slender vivacity of the first half as in the playful humor of the finale, not forgetful of "Italian" modules, with its almost tarantella-like performance.
