The Giovanni Bottesini Musical Association was born from the enthusiasm of young people from Crema who loved music and their city. Crema boasts an important musical history which has been expressed since the 17th century thanks to figures such as Francesco Cavalli, Giuseppe Gazzaniga, Stefano Pavesi, Vincenzo Petrali and Giovanni Bottesini. Hence the desire to enhance the musical heritage of Crema with the creation of high quality and international musical and cultural events. Over the years, the Association's efforts have increasingly focused on the promotion of music and opera, with particular attention to the support and discovery of young talents. The Bottesini association is an APS – Social Promotion Association.
